A tip-off comes in that Shia Muslim leaders in Sweden are conducting weddings of women who are bought for money. They are called “pleasure marriages” in Arabic - a fixed-time marriage for pay, which can last a month, a week or even just an hour. A way to make sex permissible, because extramarital sex is forbidden in Shia Islam. Using fake identities and a hidden camera, we seek answers to the question. Is there really a sort of sex trade in which religious leaders around the country play a part in the exploitation of vulnerable women?
